My Practice + Work
Collaborative design is at the core of my practice.
I specialize in place-based projects and culture and strategy work that call for systems thinking and collective action. They present adaptive challenges and a good amount of unknowns and complexity as well as exciting opportunities for learning, experimenting and relationship building for positive impact and transformation.
I collaborate with partners from and across the social/nonprofit, public and private sectors to arrive at equitable, innovative solutions for such team, organizational, community and societal challenges that range from having a hyper local focus to a broader reach.
Trained in and using design process and methodology that encompass human-centered design and research, visual facilitation, and other participatory methods, I design and lead customized experiences, processes and tools in group learning and co-creation work that engage diverse, multiple partners. These include for community engagement, strategic planning, dialogues and conversations, workshops, retreats and other dynamic interactions.
My consulting practice and overall work are grounded in my community building background and my commitment to creating trust-based relationships for social change.
